"Developing the leaders of tomorrow" is the mission of JCI Reading. As part of a world-wide organisation, Junior Chamber International, that has over 250,000 members in over 100 countries, the members of JCI Reading believe in taking a personal responsibility for success in their lives and for sharing this success with their local community. It is an organisation run by members for member who all have one thing in common - a passion for life.

In fact people join Junior Chambers across the country for a wide variety of reasons and anybody is welcome, just so long as they are aged between 18 and 40.

In June 2003, the JCI European Conference was held on our very own doorstep in Birmingham, with keynote speakers such as Michael Heppell and World Championship athlete Kriss Akabusi. As well as 3 days of top quality training and business lectures, the British lived up to their reputation of having the best parties in Europe and on Sunday over 1000 of our European cousins went home having had the time of their lives.
