Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE)

SIFE Reading brings the student power of Reading to solve local community issues with an entrepreneurial approach and the positive power of business.

in January 2011 Stephen Wells, JCI Reading's President and Owner of AIM to Succeed Ltd, was requested to join the Business Advisory Board for SIFE Reading. Alongside members of the SIFE leadership team the Business Advisory Board contains advisors from John Lewis, Waitrose, Enterprise Rent-a-car, and other leading companies.

Nothing But Nets

Nothing But Nets is a grassroots movement involved in malaria prevention through advocacy, procurement and distribution of free nets.

As part of JCI UK's comitment to Nothing But Nets, JCI Reading has pledged to raise money whenever possible at the events it hosts.

Parents And Children Together (PACT)

PACT support thousands of families every year through our community projects across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and our role as a voluntary adoption agency, specialising in both domestic and intercountry adoption, fostering, dual approval and post-adoption support.

In 2011 Charlotte Taylor (JCI Readings Socail Director) is training to complete the Three Peaks Challange, money raised from this will be going to PACT in Reading.

United Nations Global Compact

The Global Compact is an initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations with ten universally accepted principles covering human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
