Meet the council team
In his time as JCI Reading President Steve wants to empower the members of JCI Reading to help them make an impact that will change their lives. If you have a dream that you want to achieve let me know and I will find a way to help you get started.
Stephen Wells - President 
I have taken the opportunity to be the President of JCI Reading for 2011/12 to help give back some of what I have received from JCI.
I feel that JCI is an organisation full of young professionals willing to help each other and those around them in ways that are truly inspiring. The energy and enthusiam i have seen since joining inspired me to focus on the areas of life that fulfil my core values and take the step to start my own company as a Success Coach.
Diane Edgington - Training Director
I have been passionately involved with JCI since 2006, having initially joined JCI Londonderry as Membership Director and subsequently transferred to JCI Reading in 2008 as Membership and Administration Director.
I joined JCI to enable me to network, to meet with fellow young professionals, the excellent opportunities for personal development and of course the fabulous social element!
Outside JCI I am a Human Resources Business Partner supporting the EMEA region and taking on the role of Personal Development Director has huge appeal to me.
My objective as JCI Reading 2011/12 Personal Development Director is to provide opportunities to JCI members and other young professionals in and around Reading to further develop their leadership skills and communication for professional growth.
Clare Franklin - Charity Liasion Director
After taking time out from the JCI Board, due to promotion at work, Clare has come back with a passion to make a difference in JCI, herself and the community.
Initial coming back as the Event Co-ordinator Clare took on organising our Information Event ‘How JCI Can Help You’. Building on the success of this event and increased membership numbers Clare is now focusing on our Charity involvement and is overflowing with ideas and project. Keep an eye on the Community pages as these are going to be busy in 2012. She is taking this year an an opportunity to help other young professionals make a real impact.
Elaine Koczubik
Research Director
A highly valued role with JCI Reading. Working as a resource for other Board Members and Project leads Elaine will be responsible for sourcing contacts, venues, and information to assist the smooth running of JCI Reading and its projects.
Marketing Director
Responsible for all aspects of marketing, website content, newsletter production and external communication and promotion
Social Enterprise Director
Hopefully to be announced soon
