European Capitals Meeting, Stockholm

Date: Thursday 13th May, 2010
Venue:

JCI Stockholm will in May 2010 arrange ECM (Europaean Capital Meeting) where members from all the capitals of Europe will attend.

It will be a three days event that includes lectures, seminars, workshops, networking and social events. This is an opportunity for companies to market themselves towards future leaders and decision makers.

The theme for the conference will be “Green Capital” and JCI will present a series of lectures on this subject. The social events will also be related to this subject with possibility to broaden international network.

The History
The ECM is not an official JCI meeting/conference but none the less it has survived throughout the years with varying degrees of success. As it is not an official JCI event, the framework for the meeting is more relaxed and it is for the chapter that hosts the meeting to fill out the agenda with training, social events and whatever is deemed necessary.

The focus of the ECM is for members from capital chapters to meet and address problems that are normally found in capital cities. It could be environment, traffic, housing etc. – each host plans the ECM according to what is most relevant for their city.

As with all meetings where there are “Jaycees” the ECM is also a social event where you meet new and old friends from across Europe. We have parties, sightseeing and cultural events – all designed to create the right “JCI atmosphere”.
